Residents of care home De Leeuwenhoek give their clothes to the hands of Das Leben am Haverkamp, stitching a soft embrace of the past into full-body cushions. Witness as they are revealed for the first time on June 12, unleashed to embrace, lounge, gaze. Proximity won’t just be felt: it will be made.

In the context of our participation in the Kinderkunstweek and on the occasion of our 10th anniversary as the collective Das Leben am Haverkamp, ​​we have delved into our own archive.

Carnaval Alchemist is a character that is part of the art project Carnaval Atelier: Unearthing the Gold of Helmond’s Carnival by Yasser Ballemans in collaboration with Museum Helmond. The costume of the Carnaval Alchemist is created by Anouk van Klaveren and Dewi Bekker in collaboration with Yasser Ballemans.

Bericht van De Duif is a project by G.C. Heemskerk and Shani Leseman that was created within the context of the program of Zuid.Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam. Anouk van Klaveren en Dewi Bekker created costumes that were worn during the workshops, within the film and were part of the exhibition.

Lose Voice Toolkit is a short film by artist Adele Dipasquale that premiered in 2024 at IFFR, Rotterdam (NL). The costumes in the film are created by Dewi Bekker and Anouk van Klaveren. They are designed within the context of the artistic framework of the film.

Petunia is a video work by Dewi Bekker.

Works of Anouk van Klaveren, Dewi Bekker and Gino Anthonisse are part of the group exhibition Fitting In in Z33, Hasselt (BE).

Our Quirky Cruise is now on show in the exhibition Uit de Mode in Centraal Museum Utrecht. In respons to our show at Amsterdam Fashion Week this summer, the museum aquired three of our pieces. Yet, the whole collection will be on show. Don’t miss it!

‘A Flag, Stripes And A Guy in Green Overalls’ (2017) is a project by Dewi Bekker and was part of Bravado, a four-part show by Das Leben am Haverkamp, during Amsterdam Fashion Week.

Teaming up with our friends from Marsdiep, we created this dysfunctional calendar, exploring the notion of time.

The sun would not catch them on the road is a series of garments, props and masks by Dewi Bekker. It was shown as part of Das Leben am Haverkamp’s collective presentation The Show-Off Show during Paris Men’s Fashionweek at Atelier Neerlandais.

The graduation project I would like to brink beer high among the Aesir by Dewi Bekker explores the absurd intertwined with myths and everyday life. The work has been on show at the graduation show of The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, Modebelofte, DDW Eindhoven and at AFW Lichting 2013.
