THE SUN WOULD NOT CATCH THEM ON THE ROAD
The sun would not catch them on the road is a series of garments, props and masks by Dewi Bekker. It was shown as part of Das Leben am Haverkamp’s collective presentation The Show-Off Show during Paris Men’s Fashionweek at Atelier Neerlandais.
23–27 January 2016.
The project explores myths and alter egos which include superheroes, traditional European Festivites and James Bond. Especially the act of transformation and the rituals that are going along with this were important factors in this research.
