In the context of our participation in the Kinderkunstweek and on the occasion of our 10th anniversary as the collective Das Leben am Haverkamp, ​​we have delved into our own archive.

Our works are on show at NEST, The Hague. We are part of Out and About, an outdoor program by NEST in times when art institutions need to keep their doors shut.

In the early Summer of 2017, the Zeeuws Museum, as instructed by Das Leben am Haverkamp, invites 40 visitors to give a description of 40 randomly selected objects of the museum’s collection. You are welcome to join us for the big opening on 17 February 2018!

Our Quirky Cruise is now on show in the exhibition Uit de Mode in Centraal Museum Utrecht. In respons to our show at Amsterdam Fashion Week this summer, the museum aquired three of our pieces. Yet, the whole collection will be on show. Don’t miss it!

Clothing enables you to express your identity and flaunt it. That is why Christa van der Meer wonders, in what way is the clothing you wear connected to your identity? Is fashion still an expression of identity when it is not worn by a person, but worn by an object? The collection Creamy Dream is a cheerful exploration of these questions.

Teaming up with our friends from Marsdiep, we created this dysfunctional calendar, exploring the notion of time.

A series of portraits painted on silk that were made by Christa van der Meer during a performance at BACK STAGE ON STAGE during Salone del Mobile, Milano 2014. This project stems from a fascination for the proportions of the face and the emotions that influence its expression. Specific parts of the portraits are shrunk to change the expression of the portrait.
