Pia Jacques fabulates anecdotes on a visit to an archetypical archive. By introducing us to the living insects within and around our archival institutions, she shares a femenist perspective on archival practices. Eating away our most precious histories, the silverfish became a symbol of resistance.
Teaming up with Das Leben am Haverkamp member Anouk van Klaveren, they collaborated on a series of handmade silverfish jewels. Each piece is unique and hand sawn from sterling silver. Pin this symbol on the lapel of your jacket and become an ambassador of Silverfish Feminism!
